Apple has released iOS 14.3 update with some major features for iPhone and iPad users. The new update brings the much-awaited Apple ProRAW for iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max, support for Apple Fitness+ service, new privacy section on the App Store and more.
iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3 updates are now live, and can be downloaded by all users globally. Starting with the new ProRAW format for the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple had teased this during the launch of these iPhones. Apple says with ProRAW, users will have “more time to tweak color and white balance” as noise reduction and multiframe exposure adjustments will already be in place. Photos captured in ProRAW format will be around 25MB in size.
iOS 14.3 also has some minor updates including the option to record video at 25 fps, and mirror the front camera for still photos on iPhone 6s till iPhone X models. iPhone users will also find it easier to set custom app icons as it’s now possible to run shortcuts from the home screen itself. You don’t have to launch the Shortcuts app first. Apple has also added new animated artwork in the Apple Music app with the latest update.
